All things that could hurt you like the iron maiden, spears, nails etc. All things that have skulls, urns, ashes and general suspicious unholy stuff you can safely open with the holy water. All things related to food, alchemy, flesh you can safely open with the herb medicine. All treasure that have a visible lock you can open safe with the key. Is there any list of all optional items yet? If not lets make one! What are the books/shelves for? I ignore them atm. However, I have yet to find an item that does anything. Reading them is coin flip, most of the time you get a bad result imo. When I click on a Bookshelf, I get the option to use an item on it.
For example keys for chests, holy water for urns, the medicine for the alchemy station etc.īut what to do with the stupid books? I tried burning them, thats not a good idea instant stress meter 100/100 and ♥♥♥♥ happened. I suppose many of you know that you can use optional items to unlock a safe way when opening treasure.
